**Summary:** The Ferrari F430 succeeded the 360 Modena and is the first "modern" Ferrari, retaining a timeless and contemporary feel. Its engine is a 483 horsepower 4.3-liter V8 from Maserati. The F430 introduced a steering wheel-mounted selector for choosing between five driving settings. Each mode adjusts the car's ESP system, electronic suspension, throttle response, and electronic differential.

Prices for used F430s have dropped below €100,000, offering an excellent price-to-quality ratio among Ferraris. It runs smoothly without any rattling, just a satisfying growl. In its price range, it's an excellent acquisition, especially as a summer car. Resale value is likely to remain strong, staying above €90,000 until at least 2025, possibly even increasing. The most sought-after model is the soft-top Spider, but it may not suit sensitive ears due to the loud engine located just 30 cm behind the driver. The sound is cold and high-pitched, which was a significant reason for the reviewer to change cars.

When buying a used Ferrari in Finland, the F430 is usually the "most expensive Ferrari" worth purchasing. It offers everything one might expect from a Ferrari, with plenty of options available as many units are for sale. If considering the newer 458 Italia and its €150,000 price difference, it’s crucial to weigh whether it's worth it.
